The Hatch-Collins Budget is a balanced budget that serves all Americans. This budget ends senseless, across-the-board cuts from sequestration, eliminates wasteful health spending, and curbs ballooning defense spending - all without raising taxes or jeopardizing the health and safety of our country. We worked hard to create a plan for the Americans who want Congress to move past political grandstanding and get back to the work of serving the American people.

The Hatch-Collins Budget also makes important progress in addressing long-term American economic health and reduces the deficit by more than $900 billion dollars over the next ten years. We believe this budget is a significant step toward cutting our growing debt without sacrificing our short-term economic growth.
